Assessment of banking group HSBC business and its global presence strategy

Abstract: The article summarizes the research results of the activity of the global systemically important financial institution HSBC. The evolution of global business development, as well as modern business lines of the Bank are considered. The estimation of financial indicators dynamics for the last ten years is given. The study of the Banks global presence strategy and its work on the national financial markets was conducted. The results can be used to forecast the financial condition and monitor the further development of HSBC's business as the global financial group.

The impact of banking problems on the real estate market

Abstract: The article deals with the problem of the crisis in the banking system of the Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to the impact of this problem on the state of the real estate market, which is going through not the best times in modern economic conditions. It is also proposed to review the forecast of real estate market development for 2018, taking into account the analysis of possible future changes in the banking sector.

Abstract: The problem of innovative development is currently becoming ever more relevant, since innovations are a critical factor of economic growth during the transition to a new technological order. This article presents a critical review of innovative activity of Russian companies against the world innovation landscape. We analyze dynamics and structure of innovative goods production as well as innovation expenses by type of innovations (technological, organizational, marketing), ownership structure, coverage (radical or incremental). Measures are provided to increase innovative activity and overcome obstacles.

The assessment of financial condition, dynamics and reasons of change in the bank's share price is given. The analysis of bank holding spread around the world and its activity in the Russian Federation is carried out. The study revealed that the scale of activities of Morgan Stanley confirms its global systemic importance.

About global activity of investment bank Goldman Sachs

Abstract: The article describes the current activities of the global investment bank Goldman Sachs, as well as the organization of its internal risk management system. The bank's performance indicators during the great financial crisis are summarized. The indicators of financial condition for ten years are analyzed. The activity of investment bank in the BRICS countries was studied. Global economic risks are identified and analyzed, which are essential for the further work of Goldman Sachs. The results of the study can be used to forecast the financial condition and monitor the business development of Goldman Sachs as a global investment bank.
