Abstract: The article discusses the causes of the trade war between the United States and China. Since these states are the leaders of the world economy, the nature of their relationship will have a direct impact on world trade and on the economy as a whole. The article also described the main reasons for the introduction of duties on Chinese goods by the United States, China’s retaliatory measures and a review of the consequences of this war on the world market.

The relevance of this topic is that the insurance market is one of the most important segments of the modern economy. Recent recession and instability of the development of the Russian economy are forcing regulators to carry out reforms in this segment in order to increase the efficiency and reliability of the entire insurance system in the Russian Federation. However, the methods chosen by the regulator, according to a number of experts, are associated with potential negative consequences that are considered in this article.

The impact of the 2014-2015 currency crisis on the value of real estate is determined. Key indicators and average market parameters of today's MLC market are identified. The problem of the formation of a «bubble» in the Russian mortgage market is raised. The issue of profitable investment in mortgage is being considered.
