Currency of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) –myth or reality?
ID number: J201931
Abstract: Integration processes in the world economy play an important role in the formation of an effective structure, both national economies and the world economy as a whole. One of the most promising integrations is the Eurasian economic Union, officially established in 2015, and today, which includes five member countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The development of this integration began with the creation of a single economic space for free trade and free movement of goods and services. Today it is necessary to move to a qualitatively new level of integration – the creation of a monetary Union, which involves the creation of a single currency of the EAEU. But are you ready for the country to make that change? And what will the single currency lead to?
Key-words: Eurasian economic Union, EAEU, single currency, monetary Union, economic integration, international trade
