Abstract: Due to the relevance of the topic, the purpose of this article is to consider the credit policy of banks. To understand what the bank's credit policy is based on, the goals, strategies and objectives that banks set for themselves are revealed. The factors influencing the credit policy are also described. The purpose of this article is also to review the risks that the bank seeks to minimize, therefore, the importance and necessity of drawing up a credit policy is highlighted.

Assessment of the effectiveness of the use of housing mortgage lending as an instrument of monetary policy in Russia

Abstract: The article analyzes the possible negative consequences of the applied monetary policy measures in the context of the current crisis market conditions. The assessment of the likelihood of such consequences on the basis of historical data was conducted. The previously approved development strategies of the Russian Government in the field of mortgage lending were studied. The comparative analysis of the current indicators of the Russian market with the markets of developed countries is carried out. Statistical data was used for the study from the Federal State Statistics Service and world analytical agencies. Based on expert opinions and the obtained results of data analysis, conclusions about the effectiveness of the applied credit instruments were made.

Challenges of adoption of IFRS around the world

Abstract: International Financial Reporting Standards are a set of international accounting standards that specify how transactions and other events should be reflected in the financial statements. IFRS are aimed at unification and convergence of interpretation of companies` financial statements from different countries. Unified standards make it easier to evaluate and compare the performance of various entities. IFRS aims to be a unified language of communication for financial professionals. Some economists claim that working under unified financial reporting system is going to significantly improve economies around the world, whereas others argue that the implementation of the standards is not worth it, as the process will cause too many problems. This paper analyses possible arguments against the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards around the world.

Abstract: The article describes the impact of coronavirus on investment funds, especially those of real estate sector and what can be expected for real-estate assets in a post-COVID-19 world. We find that active equity mutual funds underperform a variety of passive benchmarks, contradicting the popular belief that active managers outperform in downturns. In addition, investors have favored sustainable funds during the crisis, suggesting that sustainability is now viewed as a necessity.
