International financial organizations and their cooperation with Russia

Abstract: Throughout its membership in the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, Russia has been an active participant in the activities of major international financial institutions. Having joined the organizations as a borrower, the country in a fairly short period of time changed its status to a creditor in the IMF and a partner in the Bank. Today, Russia, in cooperation with a number of other countries, in particular the BRICS countries, is actively promoting reforms of the global financial architecture to make it more reflective of the current balance of forces in the global economy. Russia also participates in and initiates regional financial initiatives to strengthen the foundation of the international financial system

State antimonopoly policy in the field of rail transportation in the Russian Federation

Abstract: Currently, in the field of freight rail transportation, there is a tendency to abuse the dominant position of Russian Railways. This article identifies a number of problems for the owner of the infrastructure of the railway network, which make it difficult to improve the technology of the transportation process. The main goal of the work is to develop a number of measures aimed at a compromise between Russian Railways and private operators. As a solution to the problem, it is proposed to bring private operators of rolling stock to the freight rail transportation market to maintain competition

Forecasting the ruble exchange rate using econometric analysis methods

Abstract: This article is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics of the ruble exchange rate in 2000-2020. The article considers the mechanism of exchange rate formation under the influence of the main structural and conjunctural factors. The author, using the methods of econometric analysis, constructed models of multiple regression, in which the dynamics of the quarterly nominal ruble exchange rate was the dependent variable. When comparing several models, the most suitable one was selected using criteria. On the basis of the data obtained, the factors most strongly influencing the ruble exchange rate were identified. The article uses methods of data systematization, logical conclusions, graphical, tabular and econometric methods, which allows the author to determine the interaction of various factors in the process of ruble exchange rate formation. The purpose of this work is to construct an economic model of the dynamics of the average quarterly nominal ruble exchange rate for 2000-2020
