Investment climate in Russian Federation

Abstract: The article assesses the investment climate of the Russian Federation based on relevant data from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The dynamics of the outflow and inflow of foreign direct investment for 2014-2018, as well as the volume of investments in fixed assets, the main investor countries and investment sectors are identified. The main trends in the development of the investment market of the Russian Federation are outlined, as well as the positive, negative sides and competitive advantages of the investment climate in Russia are considered.

Current problems and prospects for the development of consumer lending in the Russian Federation

Abstract: The article considers one of the services provided by credit institutions in the Russian Federation - consumer credit. Since consumer lending is an important component in the daily life of citizens, the emphasis is primarily on studying the problems that arise in the issuance and repayment of consumer lending in Russia. Based on the analysis of problems of this type of service, the article provides ways to solve these problems. The article also provides mechanisms for improving the issuance of consumer loans in Russia. The results of the study can be used in the future for the development of consumer lending in the Russian Federation.

Abstract: The author considers, that in the universe, everything is interdependent, and the link between economics and natural sciences is, of course, a fact, but for some reason, this connection does not receive much attention. However, in the case of more research on this union, many more pressing public and private problems would be brought to an end sooner. In recent years, due to the demands of time, Author has deepened interest in the study of economic competition issues, and, by observing the analogy of the well-known law of force of electrical current in physics (I=V/R), even identified some gaps in classical competing visions and current legislation about competition. Author believes, that a proper understanding of connections of competition and the use of innovative competitive management tools with 2020 will significantly contribute to substantially improving the alarming demographic situation and poverty even in the developed Western civilization.

Loss of budget revenues from the sale of tobacco for the hookah business

Abstract: he article discusses the mechanisms of taxation of tobacco products in Russia due to the desire of the state to popularize a healthy lifestyle among Russians, leads to an increase in excise taxes on tobacco products, and, as a result, to increased revenues to the budget of the country. In practice, tax increases lead to the formation of a shadow sector, which leads to huge losses in budget revenues from the sale of tobacco products. The results of the analysis can be used in the processes of developing and implementing policies to improve the mechanisms of the tobacco market, to draw up a plan for labeling tobacco products by market participants.
Assessment of financial and economic activities of VTB PJSC and identification of prospects for the development of interaction between commercial banks and insurance companies

Abstract: The article analyzes the financial and economic activities of the Bank and considers its asset and liability in dynamics. Also, several indicators were taken into account and calculated at once, including indicators of return on capital and return on assets. Factor analysis of net profit and calculation of forecast values of the total number of insurance contracts was performed. The paper identifies the prospects for the development of interaction between banking and insurance activities and draws appropriate conclusions.

Abstract: Digital transformation is changing our world very quickly and there it is. There is the fourth industrial revolution, which had an impact on industry, engineering and the economy as a whole. In this regard, it is impossible not to notice the growing role of digital counterparts in the economy. They have been used as a virtual representation of a physical object for more than 30 years. However, at present, in the context of the digitalization of the economy and its various institutions, a qualitative leap in the development and application of this technology is planned. This article discusses the concept of a digital double, the advantages of using this technology in business, and provides practical examples of the use of digital doubles in Russian and foreign companies.
