Abstract: The article discusses the insurance market of the Russian Federation in the dynamics from 2015 to 2018. Due to the difficult geopolitical situation and the imposed sanctions, the insurance market is more prone to shock than ever before. Accordingly, maintaining and strengthening economic stability directly depends on the development of the insurance business. In this regard, it is necessary to study its current state, identify the main problems and prospects for development.
